Saturday 4th November 2017OUSE WASHES RSPB & LAKENHEATH FEN RSPB RESERVES
We head to the fenland area in Cambridgeshire/Norfolk where many good species can be found in a single day.
Ouse Washes RSPB Reserve will be our focus of the morning, where we hope to see Whooper and Bewick’s Swans, Tree Sparrow, Brambling, Yellowhammer, Corn Bunting and raptors such as Marsh Harrier, Peregrine and Merlin plus thousands of ducks before spending the afternoon at Lakenheath Fen RSPB Reserve.
Lakenheath Fen is a great place to spend a winter afternoon and we hope to find Common Crane, Bittern, Reed Bunting, Water Rail, Kingfisher, Barn Owl and maybe a Great White Egret.
