We will spend the day in Northwest Norfolk catching up with the best of autumn bird migration and hope to see seabirds such Northern Gannet, Great Skua or Sooty Shearwater and Sandwich Tern amongst others. If winds are from the east then anything is possible! We will search among common migrants such as Common Chiffchaff, Goldcrest and Eurasian Skylark for something rarer such as Red-breasted Flycatcher, Eurasian Wryneck, Great Grey Shrike, Lapland Bunting or Short-toed Lark.
On previous tours at this time of year we have seen Little Crake, Wilson’s Phalarope, Pectoral Sandpiper, Siberian Stonechat, Little Bunting, Radde’s Warbler, Booted Warbler, Buff-breasted Sandpiper, American Golden Plover and Glossy Ibis amongst others. Rendezvous location depending on bird news.
