It was so good to return to the fabulous Isle of Mull after a break of four years.
The weather was amazing throughout the whole trip and the birds and wildlife were equally good, there was just so many highlights!
Our journey up to Mull produced both RED & BLACK GROUSE, NORTHERN WHEATEAR, WHITE-THROATED DIPPER and plenty of WILLOW WARBLERS.
BLACK GUILLEMOTS greeted us in Oban before our ferry crossing and our six days on Mull gave great views of up to 15 WHITE-TAILED & 7 GOLDEN EAGLES, 10+ HEN HARRIER, MERLIN, 3 SHORT-EARED OWL, 50+ GREAT NORTHERN DIVER, BLACK-THROATED DIVER, TWITE, ATLANTIC PUFFINS, MANX SHEARWATERS, WHITE-THROATED DIPPER, GREAT SKUAS, more BLACK GUILLEMOTS, CORNCRAKE, EURASIAN WHIMBREL, COMMON CUCKOO and lots more.
It wasn’t just birds though as our group enjoyed watching EUROPEAN OTTERS, BOTTLENOSE DOLPHINS, HARBOUR PORPOISE and RED DEER.
We concluded the tour with a visit to Leighton Moss RSPB reserve where WESTERN MARSH HARRIERS, WATER RAIL, EURASIAN BITTERN, COMMON SWIFT, MEDITERRANEAN GULL and both SEDGE & REED WARBLERS rounded off the trip nicely!
