After an absence of 18 months due to Covid, it was great to revisit North Norfolk for a four day birding tour.
Despite the weather being unfavourable for rare migrants we saw a fantastic selection of species and had pretty good views too.
Some of the many highlights included GREY PHALAROPE, JACK SNIPE, VELVET SCOTERS, HORNED LARK, 2 SHORT-EARED OWLS, COMMON FIRECREST, SNOW BUNTINGS, RAZORBILLS, COMMON GUILLEMOTS, 2 WESTERN CATTLE EGRETS, 8 GREAT EGRETS, GREY PARTRIDGES, BRAMBLING, EURASIAN SISKINS, TAWNY OWL, LITTLE OWLS and WESTERN BARN OWL.
Other birds of note such as RED KITE, PEREGRINE FALCON, NORTHERN GANNET, RED-BREASTED MERGANSER, BARN SWALLOW, YELLOW-LEGGED GULLS, SANDWICH TERN, RED-THROATED DIVERS, LESSER REDPOLL, REDWINGS and many more.
A fantastic tour with amazing weather throughout plus good food, fab company and a great selection of birds!
